Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us.
• Mobile number: the number you enter and verify so we can deliver texts, plus a record of your consent and verification.
• Message data: emails sent to your TextMail address, the resulting SMS segments, sender address, subject, a short preview, and delivery status.
• Billing information: purchase and subscription records. Card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

How we use information

We use your information only to operate TextMail: verifying your mobile number, delivering your email messages as SMS, counting message credits, processing payments, providing support, preventing abuse, and meeting legal and carrier requirements.

Mobile information and text messaging

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except the messaging providers we use strictly to deliver your messages (our SMS carrier partner and the underlying mobile carriers). We do not send marketing text messages.

Sharing with service providers

We share data only with the vendors required to run the service: our cloud hosting and database provider, our SMS delivery provider, and our payment processor. Each processes data on our behalf under contract. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users.

Retention and deletion

Message records are retained to show your usage history and are deleted when you delete your account. You can remove or change your mobile number at any time in your dashboard, which stops all further texts. To delete your account and associated data, email support@textmail.us and we will process the request promptly.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any TextMail message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
• Turn off auto-renewal or cancel billing at any time in your dashboard.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Security and children

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that limit each account to its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. TextMail is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
