Terms of Service
Last updated: August 19, 2026
1. What TextMail does
TextMail assigns you a personal email address (for example abc123@textmail.us). Email sent to that address is converted into SMS text messages and delivered to the mobile number you registered and verified in your account. TextMail is a personal message-forwarding tool for individuals. It is not a marketing, promotional, or bulk-messaging platform.
2. Your account
You must create an account and be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to use TextMail. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information, including a mobile number that belongs to you.
3. Consent to receive text messages
TextMail only sends text messages to a mobile number after you enter that number in your account, agree to receive messages, and complete a one-time verification by entering the code we text you. You are the sole recipient of messages sent to your number. You may stop messages at any time by replying STOP or by removing your number in your dashboard. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies and depends on how many emails your email group sends. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Message credits, pricing, and auto-renewal
TextMail costs $10.00 USD for 1,000 messages. A “message” is one SMS segment of up to 160 characters; a longer email is split into multiple segments and each segment uses one credit. Credits are deducted as messages are delivered.
Auto-renewal is enabled by default. With auto-renewal on, your card is charged $10.00 for another 1,000 messages on a recurring basis so your messages do not stop. You can turn auto-renewal off, change your payment method, or cancel at any time from your dashboard or the billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; message credits you already purchased remain available. Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use TextMail to:
- Send messages to any mobile number that is not your own.
- Send marketing, promotional, political, or fundraising campaigns, or any bulk or automated messaging.
- Send content that is unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or that involves prohibited categories such as illegal substances, hate speech, or high-risk financial offers.
- Attempt to resell, share, or automate access to your TextMail address at scale.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that generate carrier complaints.
6. Service availability
Delivery depends on email senders, mobile carriers, and third-party providers. We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time. TextMail is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Do not rely on TextMail for emergency communications.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextMail’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to TextMail in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new update date. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@textmail.us.
